    Practicing With Feet Almost Touching

This video reminded me of a drill the identical drill that I used many years ago to recalibrate my swing. I can't wait to try it tomorrow morning. Thanks, Iona.

This isn't a dress rehearsal. Enjoy yourself. There's no do-over.

Interesting. I’ve never tried it, although I have sometimes hit some shots (on the range) with my feet close together to find my tempo and balance. I may give this a try.

Great video, in part because I Iona.

I have friends who have a very technical approach to the swing but I'm a "feel" and visualization player. It's odd, because in the rest of my life and work I am very very analytical.

This is a concept I can try and I like that she takes the legs and body pretty much out of it. "When you throw a ball it's all about your arms, your body and your legs just know what to do".

Much simpler than my friends who keep telling me "you have to keep the plane of your elbows behind your sternum until your left knee is past the line from your molars to your kneecaps, blah blah blah....".

Can't wait to give this a try.

Excellent for working on balance and a smooth shoulder turn. Start with a wedge and slowly work your way up the bag gradually widening your stance as you feel more comfortable.

I think it's great drill. For me I feel like it promotes better balance, better swing sequnce and club release. Plus it helps kill the urge to overswing and just let the club do it's job.

Michael . . . you would know better than me. When I get in trouble . . . I am swinging with my arms . . . results is always a pull left sometime OOB. This come from playing a couple of years before my hip replacement where I was mostly swinging with my arms only. The one thing I can't have is arms only, need those hips in there.

I still like this drill . . . 3/4 swing with arms only, sort like a 60 to 80 yards shot.
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

I do this at the range and hit the ball great. But shortly after going back to the usual stance I get my usual OTT. It's maddening. I just might hit driver with feet together on some of our short par 4s. Can't hurt.

The only way to fully commit to this drill is to tie your shoes together, waste of time otherwise. Oh and please post video.
