Handicap Calculation for 9 Hole Scores

That makes sense.

I haven't heard back from Golf Canada, but the rules official told me he had no concerns about logging a morning front 9, and and afternoon back 9 as one round - he said the intention of the change was to stop combining 9s played on very different courses, in different conditions, on different days.

We'll, there was an earthquake today near TFG's ex-wife's grave in Hunterdon (!) County in NJ, so there's been lots of resonating.
Most of us have got 9 or fewer holes in, after work, as the sun set, and enjoyed it.

I will often play 9, either when I don’t feel up to 18, or if I’m squeezed for time. I love it.

| logged my first 9 hole score, and am somewhat annoyed by this new system. I was a 20.8 handicap going in, and hit net -2 8.4 differential on the front. It calculated me a 12.0 for the back.

That does seem like an average score for me on the back, so it does make sense, but having hit a very good first 9, I feel like I would have beaten that on the back - oh well, I guess I'll just play less 9s.
