Looking up USGA Player Indexes

Years ago it was easy to look up a US golfer’s index. Either I’m a dunce or the USGA and the state affiliated organizations have clamped down on non-members being allowed to check a player’s index. Are the US indexes publicly searchable? If so, where?

Thanks for the offer, but I was simply interested in checking how various friends that I’d played with were doing. I take it, though, from your reply that if you’re not a member, then you can’t search the data base?

Hi Michael, I wondered the same thing; I infer, from reading the "GHIN Frequently Asked Questions" page on the USGA site, that you're correct --- you have to be a USGA member to look up Indexes.
And I'll add the bonus observation that you're not a dunce.
