Well is Doug Ford more cunning than we give him credit for or does he just believe that the voters will accept this as being coincidental?
Ford government closing Ontario Science Centre today after report found roof in danger of collapsing

The Ontario Science Centre is being closed immediately after an engineering report this week found the roof is in danger of collapsing.
In a stunning move Friday afternoon, the Ministry of Infrastructure is to announce the iconic 1969 Don Mills building designed by the late Raymond Moriyama will no longer be structurally sound within a few months.
The engineering report found that the air-filled concrete used in construction — similar to that used in more than 100 now-closed British schools built in the same era — is nearing the end of its life.
While the report said the building isn’t unsafe right now, the risk of rain or snow buildup could make it so sooner rather than later.
About 2,000 children scheduled to attend day camps in the next two weeks at the science centre will be given the option of relocated activities at nearby public schools. Their parents will be fully refunded.
A wedding scheduled there for Saturday is being moved to another provincially owned facility and the bride and groom refunded.
A report released by Infrastructure Ontario, in relation to the planned move of the science centre to Ontario Place, warned the ravine-straddling building “is not sustainable under status quo conditions and is in operational crisis due to a failing structure with mounting critical building maintenance costs.”
The 62-page report by consulting firm Ernst & Young was dated March 8, 2023 but not revealed until November when it was presented as a “business case” for the controversial move, stating it would cost $600 million more to fix up the old science centre than to build a new one.
